It is very important to build a solid working relationship with your therapist, as a way to feel comfortable in sharing your difficulties. I will provide a confidential environment for you to feel safe.

My Experience

I am a clinical social worker with over twenty years of experience as a mental health therapist. During this time, I have been providing individual psychotherapy in a clinic setting for adults eighteen years of age up to the elderly.

I received a Bachelors in Social Work from Mt. Marty College, in 1979. I then received a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nebraska Omaha, in 1998. I am credentialed as a Clinical Social Worker- Private Independent Practitioner, CSW-PIP.

My work has given me the opportunity to experience many different roles including: inpatient psychiatric social worker, case manager for the state of South Dakota, hospital & nursing home social worker, and geriatric consultant.
